After graduating high school, Amee chose Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy in Phoenix for her formal training in cosmotology, learning all the latest styles from the experts themselves. Upon graduation, she went to work at a T&G support salon in Scottsdale, Hair Stalgia, assisting the owner. While during this time, Amee also attended the Skin and Make-up Institute in Scottsdale getting a certificate in Aesthetics, as well as completing their make-up program, learning all facets of makeup from Day Beauty to Fantasy. In 2006, Amee moved up to Flagstaff to enjoy its beautiful environment and start her new career. She worked at Aveda Red OTS in historic downtown Flagstaff. Amee was soon promoted to manager of the salon, and held that position for over a year. With a strong desire to be her own boss, she joined About Hair and More running her own independent business. As well as doing hair and make-up at About Hair and More, Amee and Leigh Call (from About Hair and More as well) have become the wedding team in Flagstaff. They love to get the bride and their party beautiful for their big day and are available to travel. Amee's passion is doing makeovers, which often times changes people's self esteem and outlook on life.
